Prince George and Princess Charlotte served as page boy and a bridesmaid, respectively – and they naturally stole the show! It’s not quite a royal wedding, but on the scale of hotly anticipated nuptials, it’s pretty close. Kate continued her role as big sister and marshalled the young bridesmaids and page boys into the classic cars that had brought them to the church as guests filed out and walked to nearby Englefield House, where it is believed a champagne reception will be held. He proposed during a visit to the enchanting Lake District, setting in motion what is being called the society wedding of the year. The Duchess of Cambridge has already admitted she is a little anxious about how her children will behave. Prince Harry supposedly left after the church service and drove the 100 mile round trip to pick his girlfriend up and bring her back to Berkshire so she could enjoy the evening’s celebrations. The husband and wife could not help smiling and, as they reached the main gates of St Mark’s, they paused as the young children played around them. But most of the details are being kept under tight wraps. The bride and groom have been spotted in the English countryside, attending to the final details at the 12th-century church where the wedding ceremony will take place. The bride’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, have had an elaborate glass marquee built on the grounds of their estate for the reception. Middleton was relatively unknown until her figure-hugging bridesmaid gown attracted attention at the 2011 royal wedding of Kate and Prince William. As maid of honor, her eye-catching, sleek white gown made headlines. The younger Middleton authored a book. Speaking about watching the semi-royal wedding, Englefield resident Elizabeth Mary Reeves, who wore a silver wristband with the wedding date 20.05.17 printed on it, said, “She (Pippa) stood and waved and looked just lovely”. Harry’s girlfriend, Suits star Meghan Markle, was noticeably absent. It would have been Miss Markle’s first big public engagement with Prince Harry since they started dating a year ago. Among the first high-profile guests to arrive at the ceremony included reality star Spencer Matthews, TV personality Donna Air and tennis star Roger Federer.Read more at:http://www.marieprom.co.uk/black-prom-dresses | http://www.marieprom.co.uk/pink-prom-dresses-uk
